Enduro Disco's new EP delivers the goods once again with two tracks that vibrantly manifest his modern disco desires. A slinky disco groove is conjured up on Glucklich through a wiggling, winding, none-funkier bassline, combined with shimmering percussion and sharp horn stabs. A gently euphoric chord motif unfolds, imbuing the track with a sunny disposition. Infectious trumpets burst into life to add more colour still, and a joyous top line synth completes the feel-good aesthetic. No surprise the vibe is this positive when you learn that glucklich means happy in German Music continues the summery disco vibe with deliciously thick slabs of electric bass pumping away lazily beneath head-nodding cowbells and gentle tribal rhythms. Staccato string lines build a sense of urgency as distant flute notes add a touch of sweet melancholy. Another wonderful string arrangement cascades through the track, with the hazy vocal sample adding further to the dreamy feel. Slo-mo contemporary disco for the discerning ear.
